Born and raised in Italy, He has been creating jewelry since he was a young boy, next to his father and grandfather. Although he had the best teachers and mentors an apprentice could dream of, he was never really satisfied with creating traditional jewelry. He always dream of creating something different, something unique. He consistently challenged himself to go beyond the conventional design solutions and trends; he focused on craftsmanship and details. For him, style should be simple, minimal, yet unique; a perfect balance of material, form, structure and innovation. Vincenzo was inspired by modern architectural and engineering designs. His goal was to create head turning jewelry, timeless pieces that would not be discarded as trends change. Pieces for a life time of enjoyment. Innovative comfortable designs that flows and contains wizardry, with power that amazes and sparks you and your endless imagination. In 2004, after extensive experience in jewelry sales, management and creation, The Taormina Jewelry was born. |
TENSION SETTINGFLOATING STONESThanks to the Steel's springiness we were able to set the gemstones only by its shank, without the use of common prong and bezel settings, which tend to loosen with wear and tear. The stones overlook is fully exposed in its beauty and brilliance. The mounting is stronger than most conventional noble metals. By statistical, practical and mechanical point of view Tension Setting Rings will never loose the Stone. Only by the use of a special tool, a Stone can be de-mounted from the settings.
SIZINGTaormina's Tension Rings are create to the exact size provided to us by the Buyer. For technical reasons Tension Rings cannot be resized by safely stretched, severed, or filed down, therefore any error on selecting a size, necessitates the crafting of a New ring. Therefore, before selecting a ring size, we strongly suggest to visit your local jeweler and have them size your finger professionally. |

High quality 316 grade Stainless Steel is revealing a new vista for jewelry designs, as you can now be adorned with indestructible fashion statements: looks just like Platinum but much stronger and much less expensive. It is clear, hard, radiant, very durable, needs little maintenance, waterproof, will never tarnish, not subjected to oxidation and wear and tear. In terms of safety: Stainless Steel 316 it is virtually allergy-safe (hypoallergenic). This is due to the fact that Stainless Steel has only 10 to 14% of nickel in it and it is so tightly bound in the material that the leakage of nickel is below the threshold value set up by most of the countries. Its strength allowed the Designer to use Tension Setting techniques, in polished and brushed finishes, combined with black rubber, sapphires, white and black pearls. |

Every single piece is created in our State of Art Studio in Usa and Italy, handcrafted specifically for you, completely hand-cut from a solid stainless steel piece, that is cut to fit your specs & design. Polished or brushed finish, leaving no seams or dents, until the final result is reached. Perfection cannot be rushed, therefore every order could take approximately 7 to 10 business days to ship, a bit of waiting for a lifetime of enjoyment!. |
